Between Intermix Media and Adknowledge, I raised capital from TCV, TPG, Redpoint, and others, but LA-based firms were rarely an option back then. We saw an opportunity to “plant the flag” in LA, leading to the launch of our first proof-of-concept fund in 2008. We haven’t looked back since.
