Lee Ainslie

Founder
Mr. Lee S. Ainslie III founded Maverick Capital in 1993 after working as a managing director at Tiger Management. He is vice chairman of the Robin Hood Foundation, serves as a trustee of the Episcopal High School, and is on the advisory board of the University of Virginia’s Alumni Association. He holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina and a BS in systems engineering from UVA.
