Lisa Burton O'Toole

Data has been the common thread in Daniel’s career, which began with research in acoustics and bio-inspired swimming, followed by roles as a lead data scientist and data science consultant for startups. He co-founded a startup that used social media data to help brands understand customers online. Currently, he serves as Executive Director at HearstLab, supporting women-led startups with seed funding and access to legal, UX design, engineering, and hiring expertise. He also assists portfolio companies in designing initial data science solutions.
