Mary (Himinkool) Grove

Mary Grove is a managing partner at Bread and Butter Ventures, bringing nearly two decades of experience in technology, early-stage investment, and startup ecosystem growth. She began her career with Google's IPO team, later leading global startup efforts through Google for Startups, supporting entrepreneurship in over 100 countries. After her 15-year tenure at Google, Mary joined Revolution's Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, where she led investments in healthcare, fintech, and enterprise software sectors. Mary is also the co-founder of Silicon North Stars, a nonprofit supporting young Minnesotans from underserved communities to pursue tech careers. Mary serves on the boards of Vital Voices, The Minneapolis Foundation, and The Techstars Foundation. She graduated from Stanford University with both a BA and an MA, and enjoys cooking, hiking, and exploring Minnesota with her young twins.
