Nick Tomaino

Founder and General Partner of 1Confirmation, a cryptocurrency-focused investment firm managing over $1 billion in assets. With investments in major players such as OpenSea, Coinbase, and dYdX, Nick has consistently backed companies pushing the boundaries of the cryptocurrency space. Known for his close collaboration with founders, he supports those tackling challenges in the crypto ecosystem. He was an early investor in NFT projects like CryptoPunks and artists including Pak and Beeple. His career began at Coinbase in business development after attending Bowdoin College and a year at Yale School of Management. He also worked at Runa Capital, specializing in fintech, ed tech, and deep tech investments.
