Pat Matthews

Pat leads his firm, making investment decisions and actively supporting portfolio companies through board seats, strategy sessions, and founder coaching. His career began in 1999 when he dropped out of Virginia Tech to start a dot-com with friends. Despite the dot-com bubble bursting, they persevered, eventually creating Webmail.us, a B2B SaaS company that became one of Inc. Magazine's fastest-growing private companies. Webmail was acquired by Rackspace in 2007, where Pat worked on the senior leadership team, scaling the company to $1.5 billion in annual revenue.
