Chris Manning

Christopher Manning is the inaugural Thomas M. Siebel Professor of Machine Learning at Stanford, jointly appointed in Computer Science and Linguistics. He also directs the Stanford AI Lab and serves as an Associate Director at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI. Widely regarded as the most-cited researcher in NLP, Manning has led work in deep learning for NLP, including neural machine translation, question answering, sentiment analysis, and summarization. He founded the Stanford NLP Group and oversees projects like Stanford CoreNLP and Stanza.
